Great times at the CleanTech Forum!

Thank you to CleanTech, it was an absolute joy from start to finish to be part of your forum event!

So proud of team Strawberry Lemonade Events! A major thank you goes to CTG for letting us be part of it and to Lyndsey Rafferty for introducing us! #Matchmaker

Our first “big” back on site conference with 270 people, 2 days of live programming, a dinner at Edinburgh Castle and a dinner at the NMS!

I’m just calling it now- we are Scotland’s leading Event for Change social enterprise! (Fight me 😂😂😂😂)

Before Jessica and Liam joined us, both had faced really hard times of poor mental health, redundancy via the pandemic and feeling totally without purpose. But through the JOY of live events, through meeting people from all over the world, through wearing the uniform so everyone knows that are part of the crew they were able to rebuild just a bit over 3 days.

From Jessica rehearsing her welcome lines over and over to Liam running around like a sprinter at our pop up covid testing station it was so fun to see them go from being quite nervous to being IN THE ZONE!

Delighted I could contract in my tri-lingual best friend and registration guru Zakia Moulaoui Guery and to finally be able to hire living legend Izzy Conway!

Both proved to be superb team leaders (though I knew this anyway) and made the conference flow like a dream.

Everyone kept commenting how fun, professional and friendly our guys were! And that’s not an easy feat when you are asking people to swab their nostrils!

I’m so grateful, proud and inspired by my team. And we’ve got a great James Bond style story for anyone who wants to hear it over drinks one night 😉 27 bouquets, a missing bag, an Uber chase against the last train home and a questionable amber light….

Live events and back and we are still making them a little sweeter!

Thanks to my new pals Cecilia Macchione 🌱 and John Need for the good pictures! All rubbish ones taken by me!
